Bullion offers are anchored to the live spot price for gold or silver at the time of the review. The exact number reflects metal content, weight, and the specific product — name-brand sealed bars and recognized sovereign coins typically carry stronger numbers than unmarked or damaged pieces.
Mailing bullion is slow, insurable up to a limit, and outside your control once it leaves the post office. An in-person sale at the Ewing counter means your bullion is reviewed in front of you, the offer is explained, and you walk out with cash the same day if you accept.
Bring the bullion itself, any original packaging, assay cards, capsules, tubes, or invoices. Sealed and assayed pieces are reviewed faster, but loose rounds and bars are welcome too. A valid photo ID may be required for the transaction.
